I'm intrigued, what's this all about then?

Well, my young lady used to be a "Suicide Girl" and she asked me to do it up. I already felt very strongly about the situation anyways.

Long story short suicidegirls.com *was* a cool/edgy/alternative site that showcased the work of some amazing models and photographers. Then they grew more tentacles than the bastard lovechild of HP Lovecraft and the Scientologists. They started selling the girls' shots to porn sites, not accepting shoots without gynaecology and generally being cunts (using the ridiculously unsound disclaimer that work submitted to them was their copyright "anywhere in the universe"). When DA member lithiumpicnic posted photos of the beautiful Apnea on a site specifically exempt from his contract with SG they slapped a lawsuit on him for $100,000 and proceeded to attempt to personally destroy one of their top artists and top models because they stood up to them. These two were majorly influential in the look and feel and development of Suicide Girls dot com.

that's a very simplified version...but that's it in a nutshell. :-)

And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
